Demolition is underway on the 8th and 9th floors of the Tulsa County Courthouse.

Those are the floors, which used to house the Tulsa County Jail. The bars are being cut out, chopped into pieces and taken down by an elevator, installed on the outside of the building.

Demolition and construction in the 30,000 square feet area will take about a year. When its finished, the district attorney's office will move into the space.
