A Tulsa Police officer had to call for back up when he was attacked early Friday. The officer spotted a man passed out behind the wheel of his pick-up truck at a McDonalds on South Yale.
When he tried to get the guy out, the man fought back. Officers had to use spray to subdue the guy, and then had to put a mask on him. Tulsa Police Corporal BC Leonard: "It's a mesh type hood that goes over their face. They can see out of it, they just can't spit through it, and it keeps them from spitting inside the officers car and spitting on officers."
The man was taken to the Tulsa County Jail and faces a variety of charges.
