A man who’s charged with preventing future acts of terrorism, brought his message to Tulsa Tuesday.

Dennis Reimer is the director of the National Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism, which is based at the Oklahoma City National Memorial. Reimer told his audience every generation faces a challenge and terrorism is the latest. General Dennis Reimer, "Trying to provide technology to the people on the front lines, the law enforcement, emergency personnel to give them the tools they need to deal with the possibility of terrorism first to prevent and detour, then if it happens to mitigate the damage."

Reimer helps formulate Oklahoma’s terrorism security.
