A man who tried to rob a Tulsa furniture store over the weekend has died. He was shot with his own gun.

Police say 29-year-old Eddie Griffith pointed a gun and demanded money from employees of the Aaron Rental Store. That's when the employees wrestled Griffith's gun away from him. When he lunged at them Griffith was shot in the head.

Investigators say it's a clear case of self-defense. The incident happened Saturday morning at a shopping center near Eastland Mall on 21st Street.
No one else was injured.
