Tulsa man indicted on federal weapons violation stemming from December fatal shooting

27-year-old Jason Weed has been indicted on a federal weapons charge. Weed is suspected of shooting and killing Robert Jenkins as he delivered the mail at Brookside apartment complex last month.
Tulsa Police say Weed acted irrationally and walked down a street firing a gun into the air before he was arrested in Jenkins' death. The indictment does "not" contain a murder charge.
Federal prosecutors say it will keep Weed in jail until they are through investigating.
