The city of Owasso has reached a settlement with two police officers who were fired almost two years ago.

The settlement allows officers Burl Cox and Michael Denton to return to work, and will get the city out of a series of lawsuits.

Cox was let go because of an excessive force allegation. Denton lost his job for not reporting it.

As part of the settlement, the officers get back pay, benefits and attorneys' fees. In return, the officers have agreed to release any claims against the city.
