An ammonia leak in North Tulsa kept emergency crews busy early Wednesday.

Hazardous materials crews were called to the Bama Pie facility at Apache and Lewis around 12:30 AM Wednesday. Officials say a valve malfunction on a refrigeration system caused ammonia to leak.

Workers were evacuated until the valve was shut off and repairs were made, that took about an hour. No one was hurt.
