(Cheney, Washington-AP) -- Quarterback Josh Blankenship is transferring from Tulsa to Eastern Washington and will likely be the starter next season for the Eagles.
That's according to coach Paul Wulff.
Blankenship has thrown for more than five thousand yards the past three seasons at Tulsa, a Western Athletic Conference school. He began looking for a transfer after he was benched before a loss to New Mexico State.
The 6-foot-2, 208-pound Blankenship is fourth on Tulsa's all-time passing list.
