Now that Christmas is past, many of us will be taking down the tree. The evergreen in your living room can be part of a Tulsa tradition.

The 12th Night Burning of the Greens is January 6th. You can take our Christmas tree to Johnson Park at 61st and Riverside from January 2nd until 6:30 PM on January 6th. They'll set more than 6,000 Christmas trees ablaze that night.

Anyone dropping off a tree will get a free pine seedling.
