ENID, Okla. (AP) _ One of two jail trusties who escaped from the Garfield County Courthouse using a floor buffer was captured after a week on the run.
Cy Ray Buckley Jr. had dyed his hair, mustache and goatee, but someone who recognized him as a fugitive called the sheriff's department Sunday.
Enid police arrested Buckley, 33, on Sunday as he was running between two homes.
Buckley, who was being held on assault and battery charges, escaped with James Chris Fitzgerald Dec. 9.
Fitzgerald, 30, was captured about four hours after the escape.
Authorities said the two used a cigarette butt to keep a fire escape door open in the courthouse, then rappelled down the five-story building using the power cord from a floor buffer.
The Garfield County Jail is on the top two floors of the courthouse in downtown Enid.
