IGLS, Austria (AP) _ Christoph Langen of Germany won another World Cup bobsled race Friday, with Todd Hayes of the United States second in the two-man event.

Langen, an Olympic champion, recorded his third straight victory since the World Cup returned to Europe on Dec. 1.

He and brakeman Markus Zimmermann were the fastest in both runs for a total time of 1 minute, 45.97 seconds. Langen was not completely happy with the result, saying the start was too slow.

Hays and Paul Jovanovic were at 1:46.06 and Germans Rene Spies and Franz Sagmeister were third in 1:46:26.

Hays remains first in the standings with 132 points, followed by Germany's Martin Annan _ who placed fourth in Friday's race _ with 124 points. Langen climbed one spot and is now third with 106 points.

The World Cup continues Sunday with the four-man race.
