DETROIT (AP) _DaimlerChrysler AG is recalling 43,000 Chrysler PT Cruisers and Jeep Grand Cherokees because of a problem that could disable most of the gauges and warning lights.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Wednesday that the problem involved a software error in the 2002 models.
No accidents or injuries have been attributed to the problem, the automaker said Thursday.
