With the advent of cold weather, mosquito season has ended, and so has the threat of West Nile Virus.
Earlier this year, Oklahomans were advised to be on the lookout for signs of the virus, when it showed up in nearby states. So far, the Oklahoma State Health Department tested seven people, 128 birds, 17 horses and eight mosquito pools for the virus.
All the tests came back negative.
