A 12-year-old Sapulpa boy who tried to end his own life is alive thanks to a hero teen and two other children.

Authorities say when the boy tried to hang himself, his playmates ran for help. They found an 18-year-old girl, who held up the child's body while the boys cut through the rope with scissors. The girl performed mouth-to-mouth until help arrived.

The boy is expected to make a full recovery.
