Tulsa's Call Rape program trained new volunteers Monday night. They'll answer the 24-hour crisis line and meet victims at the hospital to support them through the hours-long physical exam that follows an attack.

Monday's speaker was a counselor who works with sexual predators. She says therapy can be successful, especially for boys between the ages of 9 and 18 years old. Part of that involves learning empathy for what their victims are going through.

Tulsa is one of the few cities in the nation with on-call rape nurses. Virginia Lloyd, a Call Rape Volunteer: "We have nurses trained that are real good with the patients. It is tough sometimes. Sometimes, we all cry together."

Call Rape helped 322 rape victims last year, a third of them were younger than 18 and several were men.
