Vandals raided the Tulsa Public Schools transportation lot Sunday night or early Monday morning, damaging nearly 20 school buses and other vehicles.

A few of the buses were relatively new. The vandals broke out dozens of windows, windshields and taillights and discharged fire extinguishers. Tulsa Public School transportation director, Bob Haddux, "It's going to cost us several thousand dollars to fix it and it did cause a problem this morning were some buses had to be cleaned before they could be sent to school. All in all this is something that occurs every once in awhile -- this is a little bit worse than we've had in the past."

Tulsa Police are investigating.
