(Houston-AP) -- Oklahoma linebacker Rocky Calmus is among the finalists for the Rotary Lombardi Award.

The award goes to the top college lineman or linebacker who, in the opinion of nearly 300 voting writers, broadcasters and coaches, best exemplifies the characteristics and discipline of Vince Lombardi.

The number of finalists for the award was pared to 12 Tuesday. The four finalists for the award will be announced the week of November 11th after a second round of voting.

The award ceremony is scheduled for December 5th in Houston.
