Wild animals are scary enough, but what happens when you mix the Tulsa Zoo and Halloween? As it turns out, a whole lot of fun.
The zoo is gearing up for its Hallowzooween celebration. They say it's a "not-too-scary" trick-or-treat event for the whole family, with plenty of fun activities, costume characters, and more than 20 candy stops. Julie Cox, Event Coordinator: "There will be candy, and we have a couple different activities, they'll get to play pin the nose on the pumpkin and tic-tack pumpkin and we have a hay maze this year." If you're looking for an alternative to traditional Halloween activities, they say this one gives kids a safe place to enjoy the holiday. Hallowzooween is open 6:30 and goes till 8:30 PM.
The cost is $4 for the trick-or-treaters, $2 for parents.
