What could someone possibly do with a 300-pound robot? How 'bout put it to battle against other robots.
That's the idea behind a monster created by engineering students at the University of Tulsa. His name is 'Hurricane' and he will compete against other robots at the Battle bots contest in California. He's 52 inches wide, 17 inches tall and spins up to 1,800 revolutions per minute.
Marie Moran/TU Mechanical Engineering student: "You get to go to San Francisco get on TV and use all you learned in theory and put into practice." An all-women team of students created ‘Hurricane’.
They head to San Francisco November 2nd.
