New numbers about anthrax scares in Oklahoma. So far, 200 samples have been turned over to the State Department of Heath. The good news, all of them have come back negative for anthrax.
In McAlester, state health officials met with doctors and nurses to keep them informed and on alert about anthrax. Earlier Monday, police, fire, health and McAlester city leaders held a seminar to learn their roles in bio-terrorism preparedness. They say they're especially concerned because the army ammunition plant is nearby.
Monday's seminar identified some potential problems that officials are now working to solve. Emily Mouser with the McAlester Regional Health Center, "Right now our plan really addresses injured people. If we had a plane accident at the Army Ammunition plant, we could easily take care of people. When we're talking about maybe 40-50 infected people coming in at the same time, we just need to tweak some things."
