MCALESTER, Okla (AP) _ Officials throughout southeastern Oklahoma will meet Monday to discuss preparation and responses to possible bioterrorism.
The seminar is intended to help local emergency officials learn about bioterrorism and determine how prepared they are to respond to emergencies, said Pittsburg County Health Department Administrator Mike Echelle.
Speakers include State Epidemiologist Dr. Mike Crutcher; Dr. Robert Petrone, bioterrorism coordinator for the state health department; and Don Capps, head of fire and emergency services for the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant.
