Oklahoma's coaches are evaluating the quarterback position to see who should start this week against Baylor.

Nate Hybl has started all six games for the second-ranked Sooners.

But Hybl has failed to finish the past two games. He got hurt in the Texas game, then was pulled from the Kansas game Saturday night after a lackluster performance.

Jason White has played well in each of those games. White threw four touchdown passes and ran for 117 yards in the 38-to-10 victory over the Jayhawks.

Coach Bob Stoops says the coaches are continuing to study tape and will visit with the quarterbacks and the rest of the team today.

Offensive coordinator Mark Mangino says the starter will be in place no later than this afternoon or early tomorrow. Mangino says it's a good problem to have -- having to choose between two quarterbacks who have shown they can play the position well.
