Overseas developments Sunday related to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks:
In Malaysia, the government pledged to bring ``the full weight of the law'' against anyone shown to be involved in a letter sent from Malaysia to a Microsoft office in Nevada that was found to be contaminated with anthrax.
In the Philippines, the 21-nation Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation forum indicated it will commit to fight terrorism and take steps to cut the flow of funds to terrorist groups at it's Oct. 20-21 meeting in Shanghai. The meeting, which will be attended by President Bush, will be the first top-level international gathering since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
In Singapore, Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong said authorities uncovered an attempt by an unnamed Middle East terrorist group to recruit Singaporeans to join its ranks. Authorities found a video of the Singaporean coastline made by other terrorists seeking to attack passing U.S. ships, he said.
