(Dallas-AP) -- Oklahoma safety Roy Williams is the Big 12 co-defensive Player of the Week following his performance against Texas.

A blitzing Williams made a flying hit on the Longhorn quarterback, allowing linebacker Teddy Lehman to intercept a pass and return it two yards for a touchdown.

Williams also intercepted a pass, broke up two others and helped the Sooner defense hold Texas to 255 total yards.

Missouri kicker Brad Hammerich is the co-Special Teams Player of the Week after hitting four of four field goal attempts in the Tigers triple overtime win at Oklahoma State.

Colorado cornerback Donald Strickland and Kansas kicker Johnny Beck are the other co-defensive and special teams players of the week.

Nebraska quarterback Eric Crouch and Kansas running back Reggie Duncan share the offensive award.
