Here in Tulsa, members of the Islamic community say they support America's strike on Afghanistan. As Muslims gathered for evening prayers at their mosque in south Tulsa, their thoughts were on the attacks half a world away.

Mujeeb Cheema, the spokesman for Tulsa's Islamic Society, says he trusts that innocent people on all sides of the conflict will come home safely. "We trust and believe that our President is committed to making this war against the ones who are guilty, not against Muslims at large or against our faith."

Cheema says the Islamic Society is committed to helping Tulsans understand their faith. They will open their mosque to the public for the next three Thursdays, to discuss Islam, the beliefs of Muslims, and the concept of Jihad. The sessions will run from 7 to 8:30.
