((Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State football coach Les Miles says he expects his team to play well this week against eleventh-ranked Texas.

The Cowboys are coming off a triple-overtime loss to Missouri in a game they were favored to win.

The loss deals a blow to OSU's hopes of finishing with a winning record.

But Miles says his players have character and pride, and he expects them to practice well in preparation for the Longhorns.

Texas is coming off a 14-to-3 loss to Oklahoma. The Longhorns often struggle in the week after the OU game, and Miles says this is as good a time as any to face them.

But he says OSU will have to play an outstanding game to have a chance to win.
