TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (AP) _ Damian Everette scored twice and Northeastern State held Bacone College to 29 yards of total offense in a 31-0 victory Thursday.
Everette rushed for 117 yards on 21 carries, while Adrien Daniels added 112 yards on 14 carries. Daniels' 10-yard TD run in the first quarter put the Redmen (3-2) ahead 7-0.
NSU went up 14-0 on Everette's first score, a 26-yard run that capped 10-play, 67-yard drive. His second touchdown, a 3-yard run, moved Northeastern State ahead 21-0 with just under six minutes left in the third quarter.
Mike Shockley kicked a 53-yard field goal and Greg Mitchell added a 2-yard touchdown run to wrap up scoring in the fourth quarter.
Bacone (4-3) amassed five penalties, had minus-24 yards rushing and 53 yards passing.
