Greyhound bus service has resumed nationwide, after it was halted Wednesday morning following a deadly crash in Tennessee.

Witnesses say the crash happened when a passenger attacked the bus driver, causing him to lose control. The stoppage stranded some travelers at the Greyhound station in downtown Tulsa.

News on Six reporter Diane White visited the station and talked with several passengers who found themselves stranded when Greyhound suspended service. Most passengers were understanding. "If you have to do whatever it takes to make it safe, make it safe." Another passenger, "It kind of makes me a little nervous. You never know when it could happen.â€ But most passengers told KOTV they were not too worried to get back on the bus and get to their final destination.

Greyhound said it talked with the Department of Transportation, the FBI and state officials in Tennessee and determined that the accident was "the act of a single, deranged individual." That's why they decided to resume service Wednesday afternoon.
