McALESTER, Okla. (AP) _ The McAlester Army Ammunition Plant has changed the design of its security badges after two of them were stolen from a contractor's truck.
The plant is under heightened security following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the East Coast, and measures include limited access to base facilities.
The two badges were discovered missing Sept. 20 along with tools, a watch and some cash from a truck owned by a contractor who was working at the base, the Pittsburg County Sheriff's Department said.
