Adobe to roll out slate of new publishing, design products

(San Jose-AP) -- Adobe Systems Incorporated -- the leader in desktop publishing software -- unveiled a slate of products aimed at streamlining the behind-the-scenes work for graphic artists and designers.
Often, these professionals have to resize and reformat an image to make it viewable -- whether on a Web site, a company brochure, a magazine, or a handheld computer.
The San Jose-based company says its new products will make it easier than ever to move text and images around -- automating much of the process.
The new products include:
Adobe's announcements at Seybold San Francisco -- the world's largest cross-media publishing trade show -- comes as the one-point-27 billion dollar company is suffering from slowed sales in the US and abroad.
