A jury has recommended life without parole for a man charged with killing a Tulsa mother in a drive-by shooting last year.

23-year-old Eric Cooks will be formally sentenced next month for the death of 21-year-old Atlanta Jacobs. Jacobs was riding in a car next to her infant son when she was shot in the head.

The shooting happened last October near 71st and Garnett.
