(Air Force Academy, Colorado-AP) -- Air Force coach Fisher DeBerry is getting rid of the Oklahoma T-shirt he wore last week to remind his team of the challenge they were facing.
But Air Force won't soon forget the Sooner defense.
Number Three Oklahoma held Air Force to just two-hundred-49 total yards in a 44-to-3 victory on Saturday. The Sooner defense scored one touchdown and set up two other scores with interceptions.
O-U coach Bob Stoops credits his staff's planning and his players' concentration for stopping the bewildering triple-option offense of Air Force.
Oklahoma linebacker Rocky Calmus had a third-quarter interception that set up a Sooner field goal.
Oklahoma hosts North Texas on Saturday.
