COMANCHE, Okla. (AP) _ Authorities captured an escaped prisoner early Tuesday after a three-day manhunt.
Law officers found Nathaniel Harris, 35, in a home in Comanche after receiving a tip, said Genese McCoy, prison spokeswoman.
Harris escaped from the Lexington Assessment and Reception Center before dawn Saturday, McCoy said. Authorities discovered he was missing about 3 a.m. and found his footprint outside a minimum security unit at the prison, she said.
Harris was arrested about 1 a.m. Tuesday without incident.
He was serving a 20-year sentence for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in Oklahoma County, McCoy said. He will now face an escape charge from Cleveland County, she said.
