MIAMI, Okla. (AP) _ A man who failed to register as a sex offender now is accused of molesting a girl in his home.
Lellous K. McGuire, 76, has been charged with three counts of child molestation.
A felony warrant was issued Aug. 23 for McGuire, also known as Lellans Keet McGuire, following reports from two girls that he allegedly fondled one of them.
The girls, ages 11 and 12, told authorities they had gone to McGuire's house to wash his truck for $20, according to court records.
McGuire took the girls skating and to eat pizza. Then the girls spent the night at his home after getting their parents' permission, documents said.
The girls told authorities McGuire told several sex-related stories. The district attorney's office alleges that three times during the evening, McGuire touched the 11-year-old in an inappropriate manner.
McGuire was charged in Ottawa County on June 21 with failure to register as a sex offender.
He was convicted of sexual assault in April 1989 and received a five-year sentence in that case, according to Taney County, Mo., court records.
McGuire was convicted of first-degree sexual abuse in October 1989 and sentenced to three years. He was required to register with local authorities every 90 days.
The last time he registered with Ottawa County authorities was May 12, 1999, according to the District Attorney's Office.
McGuire remained in custody Wednesday night in lieu of $150,000 bond.
