(Stillwater) - Oklahoma State's football players aren't the only ones excited about the season opener this week. Coach Les Miles admits to being a bit anxious about his debut as a head coach.
Miles was hired in December to replace Bob Simmons, who was forced out after six seasons. Miles has 21 years experience as an assistant coach. But Saturday's game at Southern Mississippi will be his first as a head coach at any level.
Miles says he's excited and somewhat apprehensive about the opener. But he says if the Cowboys hard and play well, they'll have a chance to pull off the upset.
