STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Enrollment at Oklahoma State University is up for the fall semester.

School officials said 22,800 students enrolled for fall classes, up by 1,000 from a year ago.

OSU President James Halligan said the number of graduate students is up by 10.2 percent while there are 2.5 percent more undergraduates students.

Halligan said the freshman-to-sophomore retention rate is 81 percent, up from 66 percent 15 years ago.
