Tulsa Union's Renegade Regiment is headed to California this January. The band will do its part to help celebrate a national tradition, the 2002 Rose Bowl Parade.

Band members found out last November that they were invited to be part of the parade. They were selected to be in the parade by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses organization. They've been holding five-hour practices since the end of July getting ready for their big performance. The Rose Bowl Parade is January 1st in Pasadena.

The 2002 Rose Bowl is the national college championship game, it will not be held on the same day as the parade.
