Another Tulsan is throwing his hat into the race for mayor. Community Activist Ray McCollum announced his candidacy Saturday.
McCollum owns McAir Incorporated, a food-machinery service company. He says his goal is to improve city streets and drainage systems. Ray McCollum, (R) Tulsa mayoral candidate: "Our method of construction is deplorable. We need to lower the cost and improve the quality. We're paying way to much for those repairs and we need to do a better job."
Two other Republicans are vying for the mayor's office, Bill LaFortune and Terry Simonson. The two Democrats planning to run are Paul Tay and Gary Watts.
