A Broken Arrow High School coach has been charged with sexual battery.

32 year old Jaime Vargas is accused of groping a 16 year old girl. She was a member of the flag corps.

Vargas was hired to conduct private coaching sessions with the flag corps team members. He wasn't a permanent member of the staff.

Police say the alleged assault took place in late July on school property.
