(Norman-AP) -- The Oklahoma athletic department has a new coordinator of radio and TV broadcasting.

Dan Cavanaugh replaces Steve Neumann, who resigned in June to pursue other opportunities.

Cavanaugh has been sports producer at WDAF TV in Kansas City the past two years. He previously spent nine years at KMIZ TV in Columbia, Missouri.

At OU, Cavanaugh will be responsible for coordinating all electronic media issues and expanding the Sooner athletic network.
