For the second time in a week, Tulsa Police investigate an officer-involved shooting. This time, the shooting involved a 34-year-old man who wanted to die.

Police were called to the Cobblestone apartments around 8:30 PM Tuesday. There they found Scott King wearing a gun and armed with a knife. Police say King held the gun to his head, and then pointed it at an officer. That's when the officer fired. Tulsa Police Sgt. Wayne Allen, "They said he was speaking some sort of gibberish at first. They made out enough to know that he was despondent over some breakup and that he wanted to die. Either he wanted the officers to kill him or he wanted to take his own."

At last word he was in critical condition, but as of Thursday morning, hospital officials tell us they can no longer release updated conditions.
