More than a hundred people gathered Sunday afternoon to remember a little dog that was set on fire in June. Animal Aid of Tulsa held a memorial service Sunday for "Angel" at Eastside Christian Church in Tulsa.
Someone set the Shitzu on fire and her injuries were so bad, veterinarians had to put her to sleep. Animal Aid of Tulsa says Sunday’s service was to remember "Angel" as well as all of the other victims of animal abuse. Susan Warren with Animal Aid of Tulsa "It's really bad, it's just that only some of it gets media attention but we get abused animals probably on a daily basis at our clinics around town.â€
Investigators still don't know who set fire to "Angel." Animal Aid is offering a $13,000 reward to anyone who can provide information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
