OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Top Hit won the $300,000 Oklahoma Derby in a photo finish Sunday afternoon at Remington Park.
Under jockey Garrett Gomez, Top Hit covered the 1 1/8 miles track in 1:49.79.
With under a half-mile to go, Top Hit charged the front runners. With a furlong to go it was down to two as Unbridled Time tried to hold the lead. The tandem hit the wire together, but the photo finish went to Top Hit.
The win was the fifth in 13 career starts for Top Hit and was worth $180,000.
Unbridled Time came in second, followed by Compendium, Devout Sinner, Buckets and Rockchalk Jayhawk.
In the earlier $35,000 Azalea Handicap, Voladora won by a length over Runaway Magic, covering the 1 1/16 miles in 1:44.31. The win for Voladora was her 20th from 49 starts.
