Women's safety is a top priority for the Citizens Crime Commission. The recent attacks on women along Riverside Drive are drawing concern.
The Crime Commission along with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office teamed up to teach women how to be safe with a free seminar Thursday night. Brooke Dieterlen of the Citizens Crime Commission appearing on KOTV’s 12 noon show Thursday offered some advice. "I would recommend exercise in groups, stick together. Don't wear headphones so they can hear others cries for help and also be cognizant of things like rustling in the bushes things like that."
KOTV’s Crime Reporter Lori Fullbright was key speaker at Thursday’s event.
