TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Angel Berroa hit his fourth home run of the year as Wichita beat Tulsa 7-5 in a Texas League game Thursday night.
The Wranglers built a 4-0 advantage in the second inning off two RBI-singles from Alexis Gomez and Brandon Berger and a two-run double by Joe Dillon.
Hank Blalock's home run in the fourth inning put the Drillers on the scoreboard and Travis Hafner's homer brought Tulsa within 4-2.
Dillon hit his 10th home run of the season, a two-run shot to left field in the fifth inning to give the Wranglers a 6-2 advantage.
Chad Curtis hit a two-run homer in the seventh inning and Brett Cadiente added a run-scoring single in the eighth inning to wrap up scoring for the Drillers.
Ryan Baerlocher (11-7) allowed five hits and four runs in 6 2-3 innings to earn the victory. Nate Field preserved the victory, picking up his 14th save.
Colby Lewis (7-7) took the loss for the Drillers, allowing eight hits and four runs in four innings.
