TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ The families of two girls who say they were secretly videotaped by a former Skiatook coach sued him and the school district on Friday.

The civil lawsuit is the second such complaint pending in U.S. District Court in Tulsa. Seven other Skiatook girls filed a similar lawsuit in Tulsa County District Court on May 9, but it was moved to federal court three weeks later.

All nine plaintiffs in both lawsuits are identified as students at Skiatook schools during the 1997-98, 1998-99 and 1999-2000 school years.

Harry ``Noonie'' Red Eagle Jr., was a teacher and coach in the school district.

He was sentenced June 7 in Osage County District Court to 20 years of probation after pleading no contest to charges that he secretly videotaped girls undressing in their locker room. Red Eagle resigned after the existence of the tapes was revealed in August 2000.

Both lawsuits claim that Skiatook Public Schools was negligent in allegedly failing to thoroughly investigate the videotaping.

In a June 6 filing, the school district claimed that Red Eagle Jr. was acting outside the scope of his employment and filed a cross-claim against him.

The latest lawsuit includes a variety of claims including intentional infliction of severe emotional distress, invasion of privacy and negligent hiring and supervision of an employee by the district.
