(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Sooner fans can ride the Heartland Flyer to Dallas this October for the annual Oklahoma-Texas football game.

The state Department of Transportation says the Amtrak train will make a special run for the Red River Shootout.

The Heartland Flyer has added an additional stop at Reunion Center in Dallas for O-U fans. Additional cars will be added to the train to accommodate extra passengers.

Amtrak and Funseekers Travel have prepared special travel packages for game, which is October Sixth.
