(Sacramento, California-AP) -- Nearly three years ago, Chris Webber joined the Sacramento Kings against his will, but he'll return to the team this fall.

Webber will re-sign with the Kings despite talk about him being interested in joining the Indiana Pacers.

Webber will receive a seven-year contract worth about 123 (m) million dollars for seven years. That's the largest possible deal under league rules.

Agent Fallasha Erwin says Webber is expected to sign the deal in Sacramento on Friday or Saturday.
