(Tulsa-AP) -- According to a poll, Oklahoma first lady Cathy Keating is the early front-runner in the race for the Republican nomination in the First Congressional District.

But Keating and her two challengers say it's too early to put much stock in the poll, since the issues haven't been defined and most voters remain undecided.

The Oklahoma Poll was conducted for the Tulsa World by the independent polling firm Consumer Logic. It sampled 403 registered Republican voters in the district and has a margin of error of plus or minus seven percentage points.

The poll shows Keating with a 2-to-1 lead over state Representative John Sullivan of Tulsa and a 3-to-1 lead over state Senator Scott Pruitt of Broken Arrow.

Sullivan and Pruitt say the poll matches results from voter samplings taken by their campaigns.

The poll shows all three Republican candidates would be the favorite over the Democratic Party candidate, Tulsa school board member Doug Dodd.
