TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Home runs from Hank Blalock and Kevin Mench helped the Tulsa Drillers beat the Wichita Wranglers 4-3 Saturday night in a Texas League game.
Blalock's shot over the right field wall came in the sixth inning and gave Tulsa a 3-1 lead. Mench's eighth-inning blast _ his 14 of the season _ gave Tulsa a 4-1 lead.
Wichita attempted a comeback in the top of the ninth.
Henry Calderon's two-out single drove in two runs to make it 4-3 Tulsa.
But Spike Lundberg got the next batter to fly out to earn his fourth save of the year.
Nick Regilio (1-2) pitched 7 1/3 innings of four-hit ball in the win. Enrique Calero (8-3) went seven innings for the loss.
